 Interesting, but not exactly what I expected
It was very informative, but did not include the updated info from the 1st Edition.

This is probably the best book of it's kind (rock encyclopedia). Gives a good bit of depth on a lot of artists and is easy to pick up and just read about an artist or two in just a few minutes. Would get 5 stars except my copy came out in the year 2000 I think, and is now in need of some updates
 Rock & Roll book
I bought this book as a gift to my husband. He's really into the Rock and Roll era, 1960's-1970's. He enjoys reading it for the different artists.

AWESOME BOOK!
This is such a fantastic book! There are a few artists/bands that made it that really shouldn't have. N'Sync and Backstreet Boys are not rock bands.
